10 for 10 Campaign
The Lowry is a registered charity and we only receive 15% of our income from public funding. This means that for every £1 we receive, we must raise another £7 ourselves to programme the highest quality work from across the world in our theatres, to care for and display the LS Lowry Collection and create other exciting and stimulating exhibitions in our galleries and to continue changing lives through our community and education projects.
In our 10th Birthday Year we need your help more than ever. From our 10th Birthday on 28th April 2010 to 10th October 2010 (10/10/10) we are asking you to donate up to £10 which will be matched by another £10 raised by The Lowry. You will also be asked when booking tickets on the phone through the Box Office, to round up your transaction to the nearest £10 to support the Campaign, a sum which will again be matched making your contribution go even further.
All of the money we raise through the 10 for 10 Campaign will support our Community Work during the 10th Birthday Year.
