New Connections
The Lowry is proud to be involved with New Connections supported by Bank of America. It will be The Lowry’s 4th year of involvement in the National Theatre’s Connections programme, which has been running for a total of 14.
Every year Connections commissions ten new plays by talented and exciting writers, which are then produced by young people from all around the country. The Lowry is supporting 14 of these productions by schools and companies from the North West, and then hosting the regional festival between Tue 6 May and Sat 10 May. The companies we are working with this time round are:

17 regional theatres will be hosting New Connections festivals in May, and a selection of the best shows from all of these will be chosen for the National Theatre’s festival in London in July. We’re looking forward to all of the performances and hope to continue the success of previous years’ work.
There’s more information about the programme and full details of all the plays on the NT Connections website: http://www.ntconnections.org.uk/
