Pupils from St Ambrose Barlow RC High School, Swinton, worked with artist Jack Doyle to produce work that created an individual exhibition for The Lowry, inspired by the many different approaches to drawing in the Jerwood Drawing Prize. During the four day residency the pupils explored their own concepts about drawing and created artwork that challenged their preconceptions about drawing and related media. The ideas were inspired by one key image and focused on personal identity, these were then developed into drawings that explored scale ranging from ten centimetres to three metres.
