Activities at The Lowry
The Lowry gives families, young people and adults the chance to explore art, drama, dance and music.
Choose from a wide variety of exciting and fun-filled exhibitons, shows and events.
For children, there is a Family Corner on The Deck where you can draw, read and play. On Saturday mornings families can enjoy a range of Playhouse activities and there are lots of other things to look out for including Family Talks, Art Detective and Hide and Seek Trails.
If you enjoy a good adventure, then Jack’s Packs are just the thing for your family. The rucksack contains games, puzzles and activities that will help you to explore the building and inspire discussion on every level. Choose from three different packs and collect yours at the Information Desk when you arrive. You will be asked to leave a small deposit.
This is what one person said about Jack's Packs: "It made the visit to the gallery much more interactive and FUN, totally different to what I was expecting a visit to the gallery to be like. I will definitely be bringing my kids here more often!" For young people and adults, there are many workshops to bring out the artist in you. Whatever your interest in the arts, there is a workshop or activity to inspire you and help develop your creative side. Take a look at the menu on the left for the family, youth and adult activities The Lowry has to offer over the coming months. More information and downloads
