Projects
The C&E Team at The Lowry is constantly developing both large and small scale projects in both the visual and performing arts, so that people from all walks of life can get involved in a wide variety of arts activity.
In 2005-6, we delivered two major community projects in the Performing and Visual Arts, Oh,WoT A Lovely War? and Worktown. These two projects were grand in scale, and were a real team effort between Salford and Manchester communities and professional artists working with The Lowry. Both projects gave their participants a huge level of involvement and direction, taught them new skills and brought new and exciting experiences to their lives.
To get an idea of some of the other things we have done in more detail, take a look at the past projects section of the site here, or to see what we’ve got coming up, read on.
