This exciting new initiative gives schools and youth groups around the country the opportunity to stage their own productions of the award-winning show, Billy Elliot the Musical. Participating groups will perform a shorter version of the script and score, specially adapted for the Billy Elliot Youth Theatre. Selected schools will be invited to perform as part of a series of regional showcases culminating in the Billy Elliot Youth Theatre West End Gala at the Victoria Palace Theatre, Billy’s London home, in July 2010.
