The Elixir of Love (L’elisir d’amore) is a lively, sunny story of rivalry in love, in which the real thing is finally rewarded.

It is the ‘male Cinderella’ tale of Nemorino, ineffectual but good-hearted, and his love for the very self-assured Adina, who is smitten with the experienced charmer Belcore.

This charming, 1950s-styled production, with its hot-air balloon and Vespas, has been warmly embraced by audiences and critics.
