The-Man-Who-Was-Hamlet

The tragic, comical, romantic and scandalous history of Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, the man who was Hamlet; not the illiterate tax-dodger of Stratford but the real William Shakespeare. His story involves murder, travel, pirates, a love-child, imprisonment in The Tower and fighting the Armada. His writing stopped after the appearance of ‘Shake-speare’. So was de Vere the inspiration for Hamlet or was he really the author? Award-winning performer George Dillon presents an unforgettable solo tour de force.
