Akram Khan: One Side to the Other

Dancer and Choreographer Akram Khan curates the second in our major series of visual arts exhibitions, bringing together sculpture, photography, painting and film, by artists such as Antony Gormley and Anish Kapoor.

The exhibition explores Khan’s fascination with the traditional and the contemporary, the spiritual and the grounded, doubt and certainty, light and dark …

A truly unique event, the exhibition will present on selected days a series of exclusive performances, where small groups of visitors are led by dancers on an intimate journey around the works of art.

These performances are free but numbers are limited and demand is expected to be high.  Tickets must be pre-booked through The Lowry Box Office. Book your free ticket here.

Please note access to the exhibition will be limited on performance days.
