An Audience with Pam Ayres

Join Pam Ayres as she brings her latest poems and stories, plus some old favourites, to The Lowry.

Since appearing on Opportunity Knocks over 35 years ago, Pam has become renowned for her comical observations on everyday life, and is still a regular on TV and radio programmes such as Just A Minute and QI.

'Whether you're battling with a reluctant boyfriend, a know-all husband or teenage children, Ayres will almost certainly have crafted a tender and witty poem about it. She manages to make the mundane funny, important and, in her own way, rather moving too.' Mail on Sunday

After the show, Pam will be signing copies of her recent autobiography, The Necessary Aptitude. You can purchase a copy of the autobiography when booking your tickets. Simply select 'Ticket and Book', priced at £30, once you have selected your seat.
