Art & Design Workshop for Secondary Schools: LS Lowry Portraits
Focus on some of Lowry’s key portraits; learn the context behind them as well as information about Lowry’s life. Discover the many different ways to represent figures, develop ideas about self portraits and how portraits capture emotion.
Work with our artists to develop portraiture skills looking at proportion and Lowry’s colour palette. Create your own portrait using mixed media.
Key Stages 3 - 4
For up to 35 pupils
10am-12pm, 1–3pm, 4pm - 6pm or weekends.
Full day workshops are also available, 10am - 3pm.
Cost £100 (£80 for Salford schools).
