Bridget Christie: A Book for Her

Wed 9 March

This event has passed.

Why has Bridget been sending her stained underpants to George Osborne at HM Treasury every month? Which method actor has been playing the character comedian Nigel Farage since 2010? Is Rachel Dolezal black or white? What’s the difference between Eddie Izzard and Caitlyn Jenner? All this and more will be revealed in Bridget’s tenth solo show. Followed by a post show book signing.

Following her hugely successful, multi award-winning 5 star shows A Bic For Her and An Ungrateful Woman, and her first book A Book For Her (Century, Random House), Bridget Christie comes to The Lowry with her brand new show.

This event is part of Wonder Women, Manchester’s annual feminist festival. From 3-13 March 2016, we celebrate the women’s movement born in our city through film, art, music, walking tours, gallery takeovers, comedy and debate, asking how far we’ve come in 100 years – and how far we have yet to go. Visit Creative Tourist's website for more.

Follow the festival on Twitter: @WonderWomenMCR #WonderWomen, Facebook: WonderWomenMCR.

 Age Recommendation: 16+

There will be a book signing post show with books available to purchase at the theatre or you can bring your own well-thumbed copy.
