Elysion Productions
Hope in Boxes / A Light in Every Window
Thu 12 January - Fri 13 January
This event has passed.
Straight from their 'Best Show' success at the Not Part Of Festival, Elysion Productions present a double bill of premières from the award-winning playwright Nicola Schofield.
Hope in Boxes sees two Grandchildren sorting through their Nan’s letters and photos. As scenes bring Nan’s experiences of the Second World War to life, the contrasts of social pressures across generations become blurred and issues of hidden sexuality are revealed. The more things change…..
A Light in Every Window changes the mood and catapults the audience into a fast contemporary drama of parties, love, marriage, infidelity, shocking consequences, and ultimately the subtlety of sweet revenge.
Directed by Gayle Hare, these plays promise an evening to remember.
