This event has passed.
Exclusive to The Lowry!
As he celebrates 25 years of creating some of the most popular and best-selling dance shows this century, Matthew Bourne, choreographer of the hits Swan Lake, Nutcracker!, Edward Scissorhands and Dorian Gray, joins us at The Lowry for an exclusive insight into his work, his influences and just what it feels like to be in such popular demand.
The event will be hosted by Donald Hutera, renowned dance journalist who writes regularly for The Times, Time Out and Dance Europe to name a few. It will also include a short performance from the students from The Lowry’s pioneering Centre for Advanced Training in Dance and be accompanied with an afternoon tea of tea, coffee and a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes.
This year sees Matthew celebrate 25 years as Artistic Director of New Adventures. Widely hailed as the UK's most popular and successful Choreographer / Director, he is a five-time Olivier Award winner and the only British Director to have won the Tony Award for both Best Choreographer and Best Director of a musical.
Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to meet one of the brightest and most exciting choreographers this country has ever seen.
