Stylish, classy and a major force in music theatre, it’s not surprising that Craig Revel Horwood (Strictly Come Dancing) and Sarah Travis’ music theatre production of SPEND SPEND SPEND! won Best Musical last year for The Watermill.

Described as a cross between Billy Elliot and Blood Brothers, it follows the rags to riches to rags story of Viv Nicholson’s a coal miner’s wife from Castleford, who won £152,319 on the pools in 1961, at that time the biggest sum ever won.

The amazingly talented 12 strong cast act, sing, dance and play all the music, creating a truly extraordinary theatrical event not to be missed.

**** ‘A little treasure’ – The Guardian

**** ‘a belter, bursting with energy, appetite and coarse humour.’ The Times

‘I admired this revival, directed with compact flair by Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood and arranged by Sarah Travis’ The Telegraph

‘vibrantly staged by Craig Revel Horwood, whose confidently audacious direction and choreography is a sure-fire success. The title song itself is a masterpiece of vaudevillian humour and artistic panache.’ The Stage

Sat 16 October - Manchester United vs. West Brom, kick-off 3pm
