In the third and final Transformations exhibition, North West artist Leo Fitzmaurice has been commissioned by The Lowry to make his mark on our unique and challenging Promenade Gallery.
Fitzmaurice’s bold approach to design and scale completely re-imagines the space, creating an extraordinary installation that turns the gallery walls into oversized packaging boxes. Inspired by colours and patterns found on old-style 35mm film boxes, he turns the commonplace into the thrilling.
Selected by a panel of curators and artists - including Hew Locke and last year’s winner Sarah Staton - this exhibition promises to bring an unprecedented blast of colour to The Lowry.
