Exhibitions at The Lowry

There is something for everyone in The Lowry Galleries.

Alongside our lively programme of special exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, photography and design, you will always see the work of LS Lowry, one of Britain’s most popular and engaging artists.

Gallery Information

The Lowry cares for the largest public collection of the artist’s work, and it is shown alongside important loans from private and public lenders around the country in our permanent exhibition, Lowry Favourites.

In addition Meet Mr Lowry, a fascinating subtitled 20 minute film about the artist is shown throughout the day and there are free LS Lowry ten minute talks everyday at 12pm and 2pm.

See What’s On for more details about our current exhibitions and visit Activities for more information about accompanying talks and activities.

If you would like to have an audio described tour of the galleries please book at least 2 weeks in advance by contacting the Box Office on 0843 208 6000.

And don’t forget The Lowry Shop has the largest range of LS Lowry books, postcards, posters and other gifts in the country.
