Conferencing Success at The Lowry

The Lowry, the National Landmark Millennium Project for the Arts and a breathtaking new architectural flagship, has already attracted over £100,000 of conference interest before opening on 28 April.

Set in a spectacular location at the heart of Manchester's waterways on Salford Quays, The Lowry is a waterfront home for the arts, entertainment and innovation. Housing two theatres, numerous gallery spaces and much more, The Lowry offers superb hospitality and conference spaces. A welcoming building, The Lowry is designed to reflect the surrounding landscapes and flourishing waterways, in its glass and metallic surfaces.

The Lowry offers a new dimension in conferencing and can host events from small seminars and client hospitality functions to large-scale conferences. The Lowry has generated interest from national and international companies ranging from the telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries to universities and showbiz parties.

Forthcoming highlights include conferences for the Arts Marketing Association and the Royal Institute of British Architects, Salford University graduation ceremonies and even a wedding. The Lowry's stunning architecture has also generated interest from recording companies & TV companies keen to use the building as a location.
