Campaign Director for ITV’s Year of Promise, Susannah Wheeler said: “Most of us lead invisible lives. After we’ve gone, the only evidence that we were here might be a name on a gravestone. Yet we are the people that, uniquely, will live through this historic time. ITV’s Year of Promise is a way for us all not only to make a difference, but also to be able to show our children and our grandchildren how we made our mark on the year 2000.”
David Alston, The Lowry’s Acting Chief Executive continues: ”We are delighted to be part of ITV’s campaign encouraging people to make a difference and thrilled that so many local people are displaying their promises here. We look forward to welcoming them, their children and their grand-children to The Lowry.”
