It is easy to see why Kelly is so popular in the UK. Her striking voice, her great sense of time, and her enthusiasm for the songs she sings excites and captivates her listeners. Her outstanding live performances have made the Kelly Dickson Quintet one of the most popular acts in the UK.
After charming audiences in New York City, she recorded her debut CD Vocal Point with Gene Perla (bass), George Garzone (tenor saxophone), Tim Harrison (piano) and John Riley (drums). She returned to London to add three more songs, accompanied by pianist Nikki Iles. Vocal Point is due to be released in mid-May 2004.
