Smudge is no ordinary boy, because he can change his shape! He becomes a lion when angry and a mouse when scared. Now, he must go in search of his lost father, himself a shape changer. Told with a mixture of puppets, acting and tango dancing, with original music and subtle lighting effects, this is an entertaining and highly imaginative show.

The Jungle Book

Prior to West End…Birmingham Stage Company present a brilliant new version of the classic story. The young boy Mowgli, is raised in the jungle by a family of wolves but when Shere Khan the tiger swears to kill him, Baloo and Bagheera agree to take Mowgli to the man village for his safety. The jungle however holds dangers and surprises for them all – and Mowgli’s extraordinary adventure has just begun! This remarkable new show follows the same company’s acclaimed productions of James and the Giant Peach, George’s Marvellous Medicine and Tom’s Midnight Garden. It’s a magnificent adventure for all the family.
