FAMILY SHOWS AT THE LOWRY January - April 2006

Traditional family favourites sit alongside exciting new productions for children and adults of all ages at The Lowry, with shows to make you laugh out loud and jump in your seat! There is a scary monster lurking in the woods as the award winning children’s picture book The Gruffalo is adapted to become a memorable musical adventure and Jason and The Argonauts sail onto the stage with a traditional tale of heroes and monsters.

A wide selection of new, quirky children’s shows are being performed in the intimate Studio theatre including the magical puppetry of The Ugly Duckling, Puss In Boots and The Kings Got Donkey’s Ears! Audience participation is required in the lively performances of Hansel and Gretel and Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus! As if that wasn’t enough choice there is the return of James Campbell’s popular stand-up performance for young audiences, Comedy 4 Kids.
