Accessible Performances May - August 2006

The Lowry’s forthcoming season includes audio described, signed and stagetext performances, making the best theatre productions accessible to all

The hotly anticipated Festen, which comes direct from a widely acclaimed run in the West End, includes audio described and Stagetext performances as well as a Screen To Stage event which opens up the process of transforming the film of the same name into a hit play. Former Eastender’s heart throb, Jack Ryder appears in new comedy The Safari Party in a week long run incorporating both signed and audio described performances. Kensuke’s Kingdom is a children’s adventure based on a desert island and includes a memorable Family Fun Day with an opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea with the cast.
