WHATS THE STORY? LOWRYS GLORY.
LS Lowrys paintings inspire new Oasis video
Tune into Top of the Pops on BBC2 at 9.05pm this Saturday, 21st October for a UK TV exclusive of Oasiss video of The Masterplan, showing the band transported into a stunning world based entirely on the paintings of legendary northern artist LS Lowry, including subtle modern day twists and detailing.
The video makes playful use of iconic LS Lowry images such as Man lying on a Wall, Fairground at Daisy Nook and views of terraced streets as well as landing the Gallagher brothers in Lowrys seascapes and empty landscapes.
LS Lowry inspires this innovative Oasis video from the Stop The Clocks EP (released 13th November), a preview from the first ever Oasis Best Of of the same name, released on 20th November. Click here for a sneak preview, for your own personal advance viewing,

The video was made with the Lowry estates blessing and is a faithful representation of the artists world of industrial Salford in the post war years.
