Eclipse tells a dramatic fantasy tale of the seasons in a fabulous fusion of mime, song, dance, skill, strength, cutting edge circus artistry and unforgettable music. This amazing theatrical experience will be making its on tour premire on The Lowrys vast Lyric theatre stage. The very first and only circus musical created in the UK from Stageworks Worldwide Productions boasts an outstanding international cast of talented artistes in a unique show that is pure theatre.
Thirty truly talented cirque artists combine ballet, trapeze, Olympic rhythmic gymnasts and athletic acrobats against a backdrop of fire, waterfalls and stars, with dazzling choreography by Antony Johns and exquisite costumes handmade with true flair by Stageworks Worldwide Productions.
Amazing dancer and aerialist, Kelly Willars joins Eclipse after graduating from the renowned Northern Ballet School. Kelly also appeared with The Manchester City Ballet Company appearing in popular productions of Coppelia, The Nutcracker and Giselle (playing principal role) and has recently returned to the UK from Paris, where she worked at the world-famous Crazy Horse.
Jesting jugglers Sergey Pustokhin, Alexandre Petchkarev and Viatcheslav Frolov delight with sheer skill along with cute antics, the Murzak family amaze and astound with traditional circus artistry - Boris braves the Russian Bar and Svetlana the elegant Cloud Swing while award-winning daughter Valerie gracefully suspends from the Silks, balances on a giant ball and performs perfectly with hoops. And Sam Scott Campbell as the playful and Puckish ringmaster extraordinaire is cool, confident and undoubtedly one of the greatest dancers ever seen on stage.
