Winter has come early at The Lowry with our search for Snowy in the imaginative adventure of cartoon hero Tintin. Another summer holiday must-see is Potted Potter – all seven Harry Potter books squeezed into 60 minutes! Also, don’t miss the spectacular piece of promenade storytelling by NYT Company, Whose Shoes?
Wed 15 August – NYT Company, Whose Shoes? – 7.30pm, Quays
By John Hoggarth and the NYT Company. Journey through the building to watch drama, music and photography from a project involving 3000 young people across the UK.
Tue 28 August - Potted Potter – The Unauthorised Harry Experience, a parody by Dan and Jeff – 7pm, Quays
All seven Harry Potter books in sixty minutes - watch Blue Peter’s comic storytelling duo, Dan and Jeff, attempt the ultimate challenge!
Wed 29 August - The Young Vic Production of Hergé’s Adventures of Tintin
Adapted by David Greig & Rufus Norris. Directed by Rufus Norris. Superb storytelling and wonderfully imaginative visual theatre. The perfect holiday treat for all the family! Prior to the West End.
