It’s a spectacular spring season packed full of world class dance at The Lowry. The internationally acclaimed Beijing Modern Dance Company perform for the first time in the North West with their stunning programme influenced by martial arts as well as classical ballet. The radical dance company La La La Human Steps present Amjad, a ballet with a sexy contemporary twist. Defying convention is Bonachela Dance Company with Square Map of Q4. Swan Lake, performed by the renowned Birmingham Royal Ballet, is sure to be hugely popular and Mathew Bourne is bringing an exciting new re-interpretation of The Nutcracker! Dance stars of the future will be performing with Verve 08 the graduate company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
