as rehearsals start for Tony & Twizzle - The Glory Years - a UK premiere!
Chorlton based award-winning comedy duo LipService Theatre, in association with The Lowry, will perform the world première of their new show, from Mon 8 – Sat 13 September.
Anthony Chalmers and Isobel ‘Twizzle’ Trilling celebrate meeting each other on Celebrity Wheelie Bins, and Tony talks candidly about their remarkable comeback after winning the series.
Tony & Twizzle, The Glory Years, is LipService’s riotous look at the cult of celebrity providing audiences with a ‘warts and all’ look back at the character’s fabulous showbiz careers.
Dubbed the northern French ‘n’ Saunders and described by The Independent as Britain’s favourite literary lunatics, Maggie Fox & Sue Ryding of Lipservice Theatre will deliver a hilarious look at the cult of celebrity.
Over the past 20 years LipService has established itself as one of the leading comedy touring companies producing shows for the theatre which have a strong base in popular culture.
