The Lowry are pleased to announce that HRH The Earl of Wessex will be visiting both its theatre and galleries on Tuesday 30 September. He will be given a guided tour of The Lowry’s first ever family exhibition, So You Want To Be An Artist?, before watching The Lowry’s own production in collaboration with the National Youth Theatre (NYT) of Salford Macbeth.

Photographers can take pictures from 7pm of His Royal Highness being given a guided tour around the exhibition by The Lowry’s Head of Galleries, Michael Simpson, during which children from St Andrew’s Primary School, Worsley, will be enjoying the exhibition. HRH will then move to The Lowry Studio Theatre to see a community production of Shakespeare’s classic tale of witchcraft and murder, transported to Salford in 1993. The Earl of Wessex, who is a patron of NYT, will meet the cast after the performance.
