Slava’s Snowshow

Created and staged by Slava
The Lowry, Tue 28 October – Sat 1 November 2008
Press Night: Tue 28 October, 7.30pm

Following its extraordinary success in 2006, The Lowry are delighted to welcome the return of the global phenomenon, Slava’s Snowshow. Captivating audiences across the world; melting the hardest of hearts and transforming sensible adults into awestruck children, the stunning spectacle will visit The Lowry from Tue 28 October.

Slava’s Snowshow is a magical experience like no other. Beautifully crafted theatrical clowning, combining the unbridled silliness of slapstick with visual extravagance and beauty, have established Slava as a creative genius of international acclaim. Slava creates a world of dream-like logic where one astonishing image melts into the next. A bed becomes a boat and a web envelopes the audience. But it is the show’s finale that literally takes the breath away leaving the audience knee deep in snow!

“Slava’s Snowshow is to clowning what Cirque du Soleil is to the circus…” Variety

“DAZZLING! Guaranteed to make even the glum thaw into happiness” The Observer
