Witness the opening scenes of this fantastic show as a huge volcano emits real fire high in the air. As the planet cools the volcano cracks in two to reveal the stunningly beautiful contortionist Valeria Murzak balanced on top of the Earth.
Three times British Figure Skating Champion John Hamer (from 2005-2007) joins the Russian Ice Stars as a special guest for this amazing production, performing with the world’s tallest ice skater, Andrey Chuvilyaev, who at 6’8” creates the world’s highest lifts with skating partner Svetlana Kouprina.
The critically acclaimed Russian Ice Stars combine Olympic-standard skating with the magical world of circus arts in a world first, creating a new, thrilling and unforgettably spectacular ice show. The Warrington-based company bring 33 of the world’s most talented performers to The Lowry from Wed 18 February for Cirque de Glace, a new genre of live entertainment.
