Faulty Towers returns to The Lowry restaurant

Don’t mention the war!...

Interactive Theatre Australia’s
Faulty Towers…the dining experience

The Lowry, Mon 21 – Sun 27 September & Sat 10 – Wed 14 October 2009

Enter the manic world of Basil and co. at Faulty Towers the Dining Experience, a delicious course of comedy, fresh from its second sell out run at the Edinburgh festival. Returning to The Lowry for 16 performances, Mon 21 – Sun 27 September and Sat 10-Wed 14 October, the orchestrated chaos revolves around a 3 course meal in The Lowry Restaurant.

A hit in its native Australia since 1997, the show made its international debut last year in Edinburgh, picking up five-star reviews and packed houses wherever it’s been. An hilarious interactive show where “pitch perfect” impersonators of Sybil, Basil and Manuel fight it out once again, everything that can go wrong, does. Basil is snobbishly manic, Sybil's a battleaxe and Manuel, of course, is hopelessly language-challenged. Featuring all the best gags and a 3 course meal, the show is a loosely-scripted '13th episode' of the TV series. The fun starts as the audience are seated in the restaurant of the Fawlty Towers hotel and it hurtles along for the next two hours with Sybil, Basil and Manuel serving the meal.
