Invitation to a world premiere at The Lowry
Slung Low and The Lowry Co-Production
Beyond the Front Line – Thursday 8 October 2009
I am delighted to invite you to the world première & press night of what is set to be a very exciting theatre experience at The Lowry, Salford Quays. In partnership with dynamic young company Slung Low and the University of Salford we have created Beyond the Front Line, a new site-specific work set in the spaces around our building.
In Beyond the Front Line Salford is under attack and the army has taken up positions to defend the city. That’s where we, the audience, take centre stage for an immersive and total sensory theatre experience. This production is part of The Lowry’s commitment to generating new work and supporting new and emerging artists and is generously supported by Arts Council England through Grants for the Arts.
We hope that you can join us on Thursday 8 October for drinks at 7.30pm in The Quay Club before the
performance at 8.15pm.
