Accessible events at The Lowry

September – December 2010

Here at The Lowry we offer services that make both the galleries and theatres more accessible. We offer various theatre events that are accompanied by audio description, sign language interpretation and Stagetext captions. In the Galleries, we can arrange a free personal guide to take you around the exhibitions, describing the paintings and have sign language interpreted gallery talks every month.

All Lowry-produced printed material is available in large print and we also produce an audio season brochure which you can receive on CD or download from our website.

If you join our advanced notice email service, My Lowry, not only will you be the first to know when the events you are interested in are announced, but we will also send you a reminder approximately one month before each accessible theatre performance.

When ringing to book for an accessible performance, make sure you let Box Office know your requirements, so that our trained staff make sure you get seats in the best areas of the theatre to make best use of the services. If you really don’t enjoy the service that we have provided, we do offer a money back guarantee so that you can try it out risk-free.
