3:30pm: Press are also welcome to stay for Tommy Steele’s presentation and Q&A with group bookers, followed by a Christmas tea.
Join family favourite Tommy Steele as he prepares to take up residence at The Lowry this Christmas in the magical festive musical Scrooge.
Scrooge is a heartwarming family story with stunning sets and costumes, specially created illusions by magician Paul Kieve (acclaimed for the magic effects in the Harry Potter films) and a fantastic musical score which features the Oscar nominated hit Thank You Very Much.
Tommy’s legendary career includes over twenty hit singles, Hollywood movie hits such as The Happiest Millionaire and Finian’s Rainbow and countless award winning stage musicals such as Half a Sixpence and Singin’ in the Rain.
Ordsall Hall’s 820 years of history and ghostly goings-on, combined with a merry Christmas welcome including carols, a tree complete with decorations and gifts plus other festive entertainment, makes this the perfect setting to evoke the spirit of a Dickensian Christmas past.
