|
Named the region’s most popular tourist attraction for the second year running, The Lowry is aiming for a hat-trick in 2012 with a January programme offering enduring favourites in dance, drama and musical theatre alongside six of the most ground-breaking Manchester fringe productions over the last 12 months.
January takes audiences from the dazzling spectacle of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat to the dark revelations of Inspector Goole in multi-award winning thriller An Inspector Calls.
Birmingham Royal Ballet tell the timeless tale of Beauty and the Beast complete with a stunning storybook set of forests, castles and golden ballrooms whilst, far from a fairytale, the re:play Festival 2012 explores the gritty reality of addiction, prostitution and kidnap.
