A Sparkling Brunch

Join us for an exclusive Champagne Brunch at The Lowry before taking the best seats in the house for Breakfast at Tiffany's - the perfect New York inspired theatre experience for a Saturday afternoon.

12pm Champagne reception in the Promenade Gallery with special entertainment
12.30pm Brunch is served in our beautiful new Pier 8 Restaurant
2pm Take the best seats for the performance
Interval: Enjoy a glass of wine in Pier 8
4.30pm Performance ends

A Magical Evening

A Fashionable Evening

This special evening began with a champagne reception in the Promenade Gallery before a three course dinner in the stunning Compass Room, overlooking MediaCityUK. The highlight of the evening was an exclusive fashion show by Harvey Nichols Manchester, with models from Boss Model Management.


A fabulous auction of money-can't-buy items helped raise funds for The Lowry's ground-breaking programme of learning and engagement with young people from some of the most disadvantaged communities in the North West with over £10,000 being raised for these worthwhile activities.

The Emerald Gala
Wed 3 June 2015

In June, the musical phenomenom Wicked flew into The Lowry and, to celebrate, we hosted an exclusive Gala Dinner on its opening night, Wednesday 3 June.

Guests enjoyed a sparkling drinks reception in the Quays Bar, with magical entertainment, before enjoying dinner in the Compass Room with its fabulous views over MediaCityUK. Guests will then took the best seats in the house for the very first performance and enjoy interval desserts in the Galleries.

The Lowry Trust Golf Day

On Thursday 25 June, we celebrated The Lowry Trust’s 11th Annual Golf Day in the beautiful parklands of Dunham Forest Golf & Country Club. Designed by John Bealey and modified by ex-Ryder Cup player and top international course designer Dave Thomas, this 18-hole championship course is considered one of the most stunning parkland courses in the UK.

Hosted by The Lowry’s Chairman, Sir Rod Aldridge OBE, the day has an emphasis on playing golf, networking and having a good time whilst raising money for a fantastic cause, The Lowry Trust Golf Day is one of the most popular golf days of the summer amongst the North West business community. 

This year, we raised an amazing £20,000 for The Lowry Centre Trust!

War Horse Gala 2013

The War Horse Gala took place on Thursday 21 November at The Lowry. This special event celebrated the arrival of the National Theatre’s critically acclaimed War Horse at The Lowry, and raised money for our Youth Talent Programme. 

At the Gala evening, guests enjoyed a Champagne Reception in the Promenade Gallery, followed by dinner in the Compass Room, with entertainment by The Lowry’s Young Actors, and a surprize guest visitor from the cast. Guests then enjoyed the performance of War Horse, with dessert canapés and drinks during the interval in the stunning LS Lowry Galleries.

Dinner with Sir Michael Parkinson

LS Lowry enthusiast Sir Michael Parkinson hosted a special evening of fine dining and after-dinner speeches in intimate setting of The Lowry Galleries.

All proceeds from the evening went to support The Lowry galleries pioneering community outreach and education programme. The Lowry Centre Trust is a registered charity, number 1053962.
