Join us in Little Hulton for our weekly Lowry Beginners and Lowry Players drama sessions. You will learn new skills, make new friends and work towards creating your own piece of theatre! Our 8-10’s group is from 4pm-5:30pm and the 11-16’s group from 6pm-8pm.

Lowry Onstage Company participates in the National Theatre Connections each year. Together the group will learn acting skills and work with a director towards staging a piece of new writing for the NT Connections Festival here at Lowry. The programme runs from September to May and the participants will get the chance to work with industry professionals from both Lowry and National Theatre during the creative process.
This group is funded by participant fees of £150 for the year. Bursaries and discounts are available.

Lowry Onstage Ensemble is a fun and creative theatre group for young people aged 12-17. Through games, improvisation and storytelling, participants develop their confidence, creativity and theatre-making skills while working towards a performance here at Lowry.
Priority will be given to young people who live or learn in Salford.

Come and get creative, meet new people and try something new. This free group is for 11–17-year-olds in Salford who are Young Carers, care-experienced young people, or young people at risk of homelessness. Expect relaxed art activities, a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, and support with things like transport so taking part is as easy as possible.

This free drama group is for 11–17-year-olds in Salford who are Young Carers, care-experienced, or at risk of homelessness. Through drama and performance activities, you'll build confidence, develop acting skills and explore your creativity alongside other young people in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Help with transport and other practical support is available to make joining in easier.

Lowry is looking for up to 10 young adult carers to join a new Young Adult Carers (YAC) Advisory Group and help shape an exciting podcast project exploring the experiences of young carers. This is your chance to make sure young carers' voices are heard, influence the topics covered in the podcast, and help create something that could make a real difference for other young carers.
