National Youth Theatre: Assemble
Are you aged 18 – 25, or turning 18 before August 2028?
Do you consider yourself to be neurodivergent, d/Deaf, disabled, or learning-disabled?
Are you interested in pursuing a creative career?
Lowry are delighted to team up with National Youth Theatre to deliver Assemble, a three-year programme focused on building confidence and employability skills for young neurodivergent, d/Deaf, disabled and learning-disabled people across Greater Manchester. The programme, funded by National Lottery Community Fund, allows us to deliver up to four courses a year, culminating in a work experience placement within a cultural venue.
Each course is completely free for learners, with additional access/travel support available for those who may need it.
PLEASE NOTE: The programme funding is to support young people who have higher levels of independence, with achievable goals for progression into employment. Sessions will be a mix of practical and admin-adjacent tasks, and whilst there will be support workers within sessions, we do not have the capacity to support learners 1-1.
