Nature in Arts
In this hands on, artist led Nature in Art workshop, pupils explore Andy Goldsworthy’s nature inspired artworks before collaborating to create their own 3D plant sculptures using recycled and natural materials, combining creativity, environmental awareness, and teamwork.

Pupils taking part will be supported to:
- Discover Andy Goldsworthy’s Art: Learn about his unique approach to using natural materials in sculptures and installations, inspiring their own creative process.
- Develop 3D Art-Making Skills: Experiment with different materials such as wire, recycled objects, and paper to create plant-inspired artwork.
- Collaborate on a Collective Installation: Contribute individual pieces to a larger group project, fostering teamwork and shared creativity.
- Explore Artistic Concepts in Nature: Express ideas about plants, the environment, and sustainability through imaginative art-making.
- Enhance Problem-Solving and Creativity: Design and construct plant sculptures while considering form, texture, and structure to bring their vision to life.
