This is Rambert is a fierce and fearless triple bill of contemporary works by creatives making their mark today, featuring Hop(e)storm by (LA)HORDE, Gallery of Consequence by Emma Evelein, and In Crimson, a new collaboration with Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, boldly reimagining the duo's acclaimed work Fugue in Crimson for the dancers of Rambert (commissioned by Jerwood Foundation).
Far from a retrospective, Pouffer has chosen a programme that is a vivid snapshot of our times – told through electric movement, raw intensity, and unflinching physicality. The programme spotlights distinctive choreographic voices that he believes are poised to define the next era of dance in the UK and worldwide - brought to life by Rambert’s world-class dancers, celebrated for their strength, individuality, and expression.

On the announcement of the Centenary live tour programme, Benoit Swan Pouffer, Artistic Director of Rambert said “For me, the most exciting thing about this moment is that Rambert has never felt more alive. The choreographers in This is Rambert each bring a pulse that belongs to right now, and our dancers respond with everything they are. To mark its Centenary, Rambert is hosting a series of special Future 100 events across the tour — unique celebrations in London, Salford and Edinburgh that bring people closer to the company’s artists and its next century. These events offer opportunities to celebrate the long-standing relationships between the company, each venue and audiences, with bespoke evenings including drinks receptions, exclusive glimpses into Rambert’s future, and the chance to meet the extraordinary artists behind the work.
